Air Conditioners

Traditional home comfort systems consist of two parts: an indoor unit, such as a furnace or air handler, and an outdoor unit. The air conditioner is the outdoor unit that cools air and sends it to the indoor unit for circulation throughout your home. Indoor and outdoor units are designed to work together. Furnaces

Furnaces serve to heat and circulate warm air during the cold times of the year, like fall, winter and early spring. Furnace heating ability is measured with an Annual Fuel Utilization Efficiency (AFUE) percentage and a higher AFUE percentage indicates a more efficient furnace.

High-Efficiency Heat Pumps

Air Handlers

The air handler is the indoor unit that circulates cool air through your home in the summer and warm air in the winter. Air handlers supply conditioned air evenly throughout your home, when used in place of a furnace, with either an air conditioning or heat pump system. Air handlers should be matched to the other main components of your comfort system, and are available in single piece or modular designs to easily accommodate any installation conditions.

Humidifiers

Humidity is very important for human comfort. Winter heating obviously keeps your home warm, but it also robs the air of much-needed moisture. For some people, this parched air is difficult, and even painful, to breathe. Dry heat can also damage furniture and woodwork by causing cracking.
